CLIFTON C HARRYDASS

SOPRANO, STEEL DRUM MUSICIAN

Clifton is from the twin island Republic of Trinidad & Tobago. He has been playing the steel drum for over fourteen years. He has worked on board cruise ships and travelled around the world performing for royalty such as the Princess of Holland in 2003 and the Prince and Princess of Norway in 2009 along side Sheldon Blackman Who he also Performed with at the World Rain Forest Music Festival in Malaysia  2008.

Clifton has had the opportunity to perform with the Grammy Award winning Latin giant Nestor Torres from Puerto Rico, on board his Cruise ships days with Holland America Cruise Lines.

Clifton performs a variety of musical genres including classical and jazz and he is currently in the UK working on his first album which will be a fusion of jazz, pop and funk and is due for release in 2011. Until then he will be travelling around Norway and the UK sharing his love of playing the steel drum and smooth vocals with everyone.
