Open Xpressions Every third wednesday at Cafeteatret, Hollendergt 8, we have a forum for artists, showcase with invited artists and open stage for all types of expression – put them together with a bubbling and positive crowd and you have Open Xpressions! with host Sheldon Blackman and our house band the Soul Rebels.
Open Xpressions has also sessions once a month in Drammen – a cooperation between Matendo Kultursenter and Nordic Black Theatre.
Arttalks Arttalks is a monthly event at Cafeteatret produced by Nordic Black Theatre. All kinds of artists are interviewed before they show some of their work. The audience gets closer to the art and artists, the artists get closer to the audience!

Teaterbåten MS Innvik 2001 – 2010 The theatreboat MS Innvik was open from 2001 – 2010 in Oslo. It has now moved and no longer a Nordic Black Theatre project. We had 9 fantastic years on the boat which became a real centre for culture in Oslo. More info
Guantanamo, What Now? In December 2010 Nordic Black Theatre presented a new theatre piece “Guantanamo, What Now?” at the norwegian national opera and ballett house in Bjørvika, Oslo. The show was a real success both artistically and in terms of attention received. Nordic Black Theatre was pleased to demonstrate the relevance and importance of political theatre.
