Torsdag 23. til søndag 26. august går Oslo Afro Arts Festival av stabelen for andre gang! Festivalen er den nye årlige og vibrerende festivalen i hjertet av Grønland, som feirer musikk og kunst med røtter fra det afrikanske kontinentet.
Arrangementet har som mål å vise frem både unge og etablerte artister samt eksponere enkeltproduksjoner og kollektive bidrag fra ulike afrikanske kulturer.
Festivalen presenterer et bredt utvalg av konserter, spoken-word, danseforestillinger, workshops og foredrag, på forskjellige venues på tvers av Grønland, som Nordic Black Theatre & Cafeteatret, Dattera til Hagen, Interkulturelt Museum, Bruket, og andre.
I tillegg arrangeres en Bakgårdsfest på lørdag, et gratis arrangement som passer for hele familien,med konserter, afrikansk marked med salgsboder, og barneaktiviteter under Barnas Afrikadag

Oslo Afro Arts Festival is the new vibrant music festival where emerging and established musicians/performing artists get the opportunity to present their work, as well as network with other artists and audience, in the relaxed and upcoming atmosphere of Grønland in Oslo.
The event aims to showcase both young and established artists as well as feature individual productions and collective contributions from various African cultures.
The festival presents a wide range of concerts, spoken word, dance performances, workshops and lectures, at various venues across Grønland, such as the Nordic Black Theatre & Cafeteatret, Dattera til Hagen, Interkulturelt Museum, Bruket, and others.
In addition, an outdoor party is organized on Saturday, a free event for the whole family, with concerts, African market with sales booths, and children’s activities during Children’s Africa Day.
