About the performance:
A physical theatre inspired by the book ‘Silent Screams’ by Farida Ahmadi, co-produced by Nordic Black Theatre, Production han (Japan) and Farida’s Sisters.
‘Silent Screams’ is a book by Afghan-Norwegian writer, Farida Ahmadi. It focuses on refugee and immigrant women’s mental/physical problems and the social issues related to them, and explores ideas for improving the situations.
The piece will be performed by a team of 13 Japanese dancers, Han production and theatre school Nordic Black Xpress.
After a period of creative collaboration, the cast of professional, amateur, and student members will perform the results in Klosterenga park. The performance will followed by a presentation and discussion with author

Production han hopes to approach these problems in the same light as things that happen in our daily life.
Together with our school Nordic Black Xpress and freelance actors in Oslo, Production han will prepare for the production with a series of workshops with culminate in two outdoor performances on 22nd and 23rd September at 15:00 in Klosterenga Park.
